Inbound Traffic Supervisor

The Inbound Traffic Supervisor is accountable for the efficient organization and timely execution of all Inbound Traffic related administrative activities in support of the Grimbergen Operations team.

The main activities are:

- Supervision of a Receiving clerks team of approximately 10-15 employees.

- Establishment of unloading planning for containers in accordance with operational warehouse requirements/limitations.

- Ensuring safety and compliance regulation is adhered to by carriers/forwarders (Known Consignor, bonded warehouse, CMR legislation, etc).

- Processing of inbound forwarder/damage claims.

- Service validation, KPI monitoring and escalation point of Van Moer operations (container terminal, shunting, barge operations).

- Monitoring and reduction of detention and demurrage expenses.

- Prime user of Yard management system (Peripass) to enhance compliance and asset visibility.

- Being accountable for the efficient organization of document handling and TU creations to enable parts receipts.

- Driving velocity and cost improvements within the receipts flow.

Requirements:

- Strong supervisory and communication skills

- Experience in the operational warehouse activities in Grimbergen is desired

- Knowledge of SPM modules EWM and/or CRM or GTS is a plus

- Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English
